So the neurologist said her EEG is completely normal and she is so healthy in every other way, so they concluded that her episodes are actually self-stimulating activity such as rocking, lip-licking, hair twirling (which she also does) or other movements that children just make a habit of. He said there is no damage being done during the episodes and that she will just grow out of them in a matter of weeks or months. So, there is nothing we can do to stop them but they aren't anything serious! It's still disturbing to see it happen, and it's a little ... embarrassing or frustrating or something to have had all that worry and testing and expense to be told there is nothing wrong, but we're glad she's OK! We love our little Tessa!
