The Greenes have been busy living life lately! We went on the Polar Express train ride they do here in Heber on Dec. 3, and had a great time. Sure enough, we got to the train station, I turned on my camera to take my first shot, and "Bleeep-bleep!" It shut down. Wouldn't you know the battery, which has amazing life and I'd only had to charge twice before since Mother's Day, decided to be dead right then. I charged the video camera, but not the still-shot one. So, we have video of it, most shot with night vision so it's all green with shiny eyes. Santa looks veeeeeery scary in night vision :)
So we've also been hangin' out with Rebecca and her family, who are here from Ohio for Chris' final CHristmas holidays before optometry school prevents trips back until graduation. We've been to Park City, where Caden had his first snowboarding experience and became "the Master Snowboardeeerrr!!!!!!" and had everyone melting over how cute he was. We visited Santa, much to Davin's dismay, and we've baked about 10 dozen cookies and made various handmade gifts and painted some Christmas ceramics and played in the snow and shopped till we dropped. Tomorrow we're going sledding with Uncle Steve and Aunt Betsy. The kids are soooo stoked.
