"Belly Corn's"

We went with a homeschool group to Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point (but Caden kept mixing it up and saying Belly Corn's - hence the title). I was a little hesitant to go. The main attraction is a giant corn maze (of Utah's David Archuletta from American Idol, no less ... cheese) that I've heard can take 2 hours to get through. That didn't sound like much fun to me ... I get pretty frazzled and frustrated in mazes in general, not appreciating the feeling of disorientation and entrapment.

But still, we went, and it was so great! I had no idea how much other fun stuff there was. They had a little kid maze that took all of 4 minutes to complete (THAT I can handle) and we skipped the giant maze. They had lots of different play areas, a giant haybale you climb up and slide off, a little train ride with milk can cars, a giant inflated pillow you can jump on, a wagon ride where you can go and pick a pumpkin... We had a total blast! Loading into the car, though, Tessa said, "But Mom! We didn't eat any corn! Now we don't have cornbellies!!!" She was pretty disappointed that no eating of corn was actually involved :)

Some of the group, including our play group friends who are so much fun.

Water pump races. Not the greatest idea for cold weather ... but still fun. We managed to stay mostly dry.

Cow + boyI don't know why these turned out so overexposed! I will have to try to Photoshop them, but for now, this is what you get :)

This is the milk can ride. Davin and I squeezed together into one :)

Just before we headed out, with our cute little Australian buddies.
Milking a cow ... this is the greatest! It feels like the real thing with these rubber udders they have. So much fun. We're thinking of getting a little Dexter cow (I think that's what they're called). It's good for kids to learn to milk ;)
Scary faces in the crooked house. Not sure why ...
Daver had a great time in their little store ... moving pumpkins from one box to another ...

  1. I haven't seen many pics of Caden lately and am shocked at how big he is! He, along with Daven and Tessa, are such good looking kids. I miss you guys! Hopefully we can come visit for a while next year.
