Busy business

I've been a little out of touch lately because I have been wearing out my sewing machine with a new business my sister-in-law and I are starting - called Itty Bitty Glam (website soon to come). Our main focus is on making infant car seat covers. Things are going great and it looks like we'll be getting manufacturing done in China and should be ready to start selling in September! We are so, so excited. Here are a few pictures of what I've been doing -- no idea-stealing, though! :)

The first time I saw the one my sis-in-law has I thought, "How did I ever live without that?" That doesn't happen to me too often so I really wanted to pursue it. Anyway, the ones with the stripes are quilts (for winter babies) and the solid panel ones are lightweight cotton (suitable for summer). The bottom picture is a diaper changing pad you roll up and put in your bag. If you are interested in getting one of these, let me know! :)

  5. Tami,
Yeah, I want one - but I am NOT pregnant nor do I have babies!
Hummm, I wonder if you could come up with something for kids that are in a car seat (front facing). Christian loves to have blankets on his lap and even pulls them up to his chin but they never stay on. Maybe this could be your next project?!
Congrats and can't wait to see you site!

  7. Tami, first of all, your kids are adorable, and second, so are these car seat covers. :) I'm due in just under 3 weeks and would like one of the lightweight ones for summer. How much are they?!?
