This summer we participated in a homeschool soccer league. Dave was our yellow team coach. It was completely unorganized and insane, but the kids had a great time! Tessa wanted to play so badly but I knew she wouldn't really do it, so instead I told her she could be a cheer leader. At first the idea didn't take, but the day before soccer started she decided to be the self-designated cheer leader. We ripped up some yellow plastic table cloths and made her some pom-poms, and she was thrilled! I am bummed I didn't get a picture of her.
The team - yellow and light blue combined because not enough kids from either showed up. It was great for me; the dads did all the work and us "assistant coach" moms chatted on the sidelines :)
Tessa took this shot. I actually rather like it.
Caden and his "she's not my girlfriend" friend. Adorable little Australian homeschooler. I just love her.
A wild action shot mid-game. The kid in red was good! Please do not comment on Caden's wardrobe. I know, I know. Believe me, not my choice.
I agree, I really like Tessa's picture. And I like Caden's pose for the soccer pic...he's a natural model.
