Youch! A few mishaps

As Tessa ran down the hallway with cousins this week, she fell and smashed her face on the edge of the stair railing. It was not a pretty sight. She cut her eye open in two places, somehow, and quickly grew a large goose egg on her forehead. There was blood, ice and tears all over the place :) She finally cried herself to sleep in my arms. This is what she looked like the next morning - it was a definite improvement.


And this is Tessa later that day. The eye swelling was almost gone. We were lucky; at first I thought we were headed to the hospital for sure. And look at the sweet smile, despite the disfigurement ;)
Davin has become our little hellion and gets into everything he shouldn't. Especially the fridge. I came into the kitchen to discover this lovely scene. "Oh, did I do that?" It was really hard to clean up 9+ smashed eggs! Not a happy mama.
Sisters?!? Davin would not take this dress off once it went on. He loved it! Tessa's always wanted a kid sister.
